A new home for will and probate professionals
Please note that the professional part of the site was launched as a trial run. The site will be developing on the professional side later this year however. We are looking for contributors who can provide very relevant and interesting articles on current matters in the will and probate market. Please get in touch if you are interested! The expected re-launch is July 2014.
Welcome! Will and probate professionals are all welcome to this new and developing site. Designed to inform, engage and even entertain at times, we encourage you to get involved with the latest news and topics.
The world of wills and probate is undergoing rapid change. Not for much longer will solicitors be able to call 'other' will writers unregulated, and we will all be looking over our shoulders at the new super large chains looking to take our business on the high street. The consumer side of the magazine/website will be articles and advice from practicing solicitors and will writers. The professional side will be information, discussion and help. If there is something you really want to see then please let us know. Our public site is: www.willandprobatemagazine.co.uk

Get involved? We have all chosen our line of work through careful choice, hard work and determination. We hope this site is an ideal place to tell other professionals how you feel about the industry, changes to it, and what else needs to be done.
In the style of a magazine, we welcome letters to the editor, examples of good practice and bad, stories from near and far, and requests for information. Please use the contact page to get in touch, or the blog to add to the latest discussion. We have big hopes for the magazine, but realise we need to take small steps to start with. Therefore I would like to start the ball rolling with a discussion on probably the biggest story right now - regulation. Please add your comments to the blog, and feel free to include a link to your business site. We also have a requests page, with the first request from the IPW. Please take part! Thank you. |
Coming soonWe have lots of up and coming sections for you to get involved in, including a services section, training, education, marketing strategies, best advice and more.
If you have a particular specialism, you may want to head up one of these sections. For example if you act in a compliance capacity, you may want to give some guidance on pitfalls when writing wills, or in dealing with clients. Again, if you have a great idea, please let us know about it and we will do what we can to make it happen. Free advice and help to grow a profitable business |
Poll - please vote!If you had one tip for growing your business what would it be? Get in touch and sign up to our newsletter where we can share your ideas and the ideas of many others.

Will and probate magazine is designed to be informative, but also to be a community based resource. The more you contribute, the more you can share. We are building links with many services and firms, so by getting involved you can make a difference to your own business or job. The professional magazine was just launched in June 2012, so let us know how you want it to develop. Thank you!
